http://www.newsday.com/sp...-with-the-final-1.3751737 talks about Moulson and Okposo having 2 very good friends in the finals. Moulson his bro in law Quick and Okposo with his high school pal Parise...
I know... I know.. no way in heck Parise signs with Isles.. but like dumb and dumber says... "You're saying there's a chance!!"
most disturbing quote in that article?
Okposo hasn't been paying too close attention to the postseason so far -- "I think I've watched more NBA playoffs than NHL," he said

X Gary is on top of the situation. He just needs to work on the Coyets for another 20 years. |

Well, the level of physicality in the NBA is more in line with the game Okposo plays, so that's understandable - UIF
Our players like our owner likes Basketball more than Hockey. Any questions? |

The guy cannot even get up from a save. How the Isles cannot get out of the contract is beyond me. A goalie who cannot get up after a save is not healthy enough to play. |

no one who is going to be paid over 5 mill a year should retire in this economy. He should come back till they don't want him back anymore. give it to your kids, grandkids, whatever... make them take the jersey off your back. |

As long as his injuries are rehab-able.. the INS will not pay for the contract.

I do think he's brilliant. If I can find a way to make $4.5mil per year for doing nothing you can be damn sure I'm doing it. |

Yes these injuries have be rehab-able for 5 seconds before he gets hurt again. The INS needs to re-look at their policy. Wang just loves having DP's salary on the books so you can bet he is not trying to get out of the contract. |

They dont want to re look at ANYTHING... they dont want that payout!!!
He'll be fine for like i said 20-25 games a season... The best thing for this team & i hate to say it because i dont wish ill on anyone.. but... if he can injure himself NOW.. before the season, before camp... and it just leaves him done.. not wanting to rehab, not wanting to go under the knife any more. And he just retires

It's a shame for the team not getting any return and the three headed goalie monster is a nightmare. Well it's Wang's fault for giving the contract out. DP has to think of his long term future. All these injuries will take a toll down the line. Cannot forget the concussons either. |
